Cleveland State Basketball targets Rondale Watson from Wake Forest

Former Wake Forest guard Rondale Watson, is reportedly considering Cleveland State as one of his transfer destinations.

According to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, Watson has cut his list down to the Vikings, Marshall, and Murray State.

Watson, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound sophomore who would have two years of eligibility remaining after sitting out a red-shirt year.

The Lewisburg, Wv. native appeared in 23 games with the Demon Deacons, averaging 3.1 points in 14.9 minutes a game. His best game came in a Jan. 13 loss at Virginia Tech where he scored a career-high 11 points in 16 minutes.

CSU has three scholarships to fill for the 2016-17 season.
