Top Target Off the Board

One of Cleveland State's top basketball targets is off the board.

Highly-touted big man Tamell Pearson committed to UAB on Monday after visiting campus this past weekend.
Pearson, a three-star recruit, had CSU among his top six finalists. He chose the Blazers over CSU, Missouri State, Murray State, Oklahoma State and Washington State.

ESPN rates the Chicago native as the third best prospect in Illinois and the 80th-best center in the class of 2018.
